An intensely moral person, Hana lives her life by what she believes in. She wasn’t always this way, and the transition in her earlier years from obedience to a self-led morality was a rocky one, both for her and for the people around her. She does have a strong bent towards obedience and reliance on hierarchical structures — probably some lingering influence of being only one amongst Shy’s creations — but she no longer accepts having someone else tell her what her place is in those structures.
She does tend to subsume herself in these structures, however. She has twofold difficulty dealing with people in more casual social spheres. One, she is a Project, raised as a Project, and was not one of the Projects blessed with a natural talent for understanding human behaviour. She she doesn’t feel fully comfortable with her own ability to adhere to social mores, she doesn’t know how to make herself likable. Two, she has hidden her providence as a Project, and is deeply nervous about having someone discover that about her: she never had a childhood, and doesn’t especially want to lie enough to fabricate one whole-cloth, so she avoids situations where people would ask about it.
A serious, square, pink-complexioned face, with light eyes and dark chestnut hair, broad shoulders, and a firm build. She carries herself very upright, with impeccable posture that trends towards officious. She moves like a lioness, when she forgets her stiffness.
Belonging. Order. To prove herself as an upright, effective person and do good in the world, and be accepted and welcomed for that.
