Veretus Cerex

No one knows much about Veretus, and even after twenty-odd years at the Nidus he’s not telling anyone.

He can talk, and has on needful occasion (and apparently to his greatest annoyance), but generally he does not. He’s got a deep, resonant, unforgettable voice, though: the kind that makes humanoids pee themselves a little and makes draconids go ‘hmm, he should do voice-over work’.

Otherwise, he’s stoic as stoic comes. His greatest shows of emotion are ear-flicks, and his deepest calms are almost indecipherable from his high-energy days. He spends all his time as a great, black shadow at Ganeen’s shoulder, or in their apartment home. He does seem to like being surrounded by his family, as given the opportunity he seems to choose to do that over anything else, and his kids seem to like him pretty universally. He’s a good listener when people talk, occasionally gracing his interlocutor with a nod or a head-tilt. Otherwise? He’s a big old puzzle of a very large dragon.

Honestly who the hell knows? He seems to like spending time with Ganeen and his kids.
